The Story Telling Kids contest launches today!! Children have the most amazing imaginations when they are “unplugged” and we want to hear what YOUR kids have to say!

If you heard last week’s show, my daughter joined me as co-host and it was a blast to hear her telling me stories about her day. Here is the chance for your child(ren) to take the mic and teach us parents something new. Each recorded story will be featured on an upcoming show!

This contest is open to children in kindergarten through 5th grade, or ages 5-11. Here’s how to enter:

1. With parents’ permission and assistance, have your child call the listener’s line at (214) 615-6505 x2817 and tell us a favorite fairy tale, something that happened at school, funny joke, or your very own creative story. Long distance charges apply.

2. For kids who are shy, have them tell you a story, favorite fairy tale, or joke and blog about it or, if it’s short, just leave it in the comment section here. All blog entries must have a link back to www.WonderYearsRadio.com/story-telling-kids-contest

3. No matter which way you choose to enter, be sure to leave a comment here telling us that you are entering. If your child wins a prize, we’ll need a valid email address to contact you.

All prize winners will be drawn from a hat after all entries are received.
