Valentine Kid Crafts - Show #21

If you're new here, you may want to subscribe to my RSS feed. That way you'll never miss a word! Thanks for visiting!

Did you realize that Valentine’s Day is only two weeks away?

This is part 2 of my interview with Annette Yen from www.PartyByMom.com and she shares some really simple Valentine craft ideas that would be perfect for a classroom Valentine’s party or a scout meeting.

The beauty of these projects is their simplicity. Most of the supplies are things we have stuffed into our cabinets anyway, such as construction paper, glue, tape, or string. If you do these projects at home and have a 4th or 5th grader who thinks they are too easy, let them make their own creations or have them help their younger siblings. Or let them be the storyteller by reading a Valentine’s book from the library.

Also mentioned in the show: We have a new listeners’ line and I’d love to hear your thoughts about the show! Now you can leave a comment here on the website OR call (214) 615-6505 x2817.

I loved the ideas that Annette gave for creating your own Valentine’s gifts. After Annette said she was sitting there making a heart with her hands I had to do it too. LOL
